This is an original press photo. Saigh, Fred (Baseball) (income tax evasion). Cincinnati. Fred Saigh, owner of the St. Louis Cardinals, who late today was indicted in St. Louis on charges of income tax invasion in the amount of ,620, is shown tonight at the Cincinnati baseball park where the Cardinals opened a two-game series. Saigh told newsmen he knew his income tax was being investigated but "I thought it was in the process of being settled." This comes as a surprise. Photo measures 7.25 x 9.75 inches. Photo is dated 4-22-1952.
